TAG | API

(For those who do not know, GameSpy4 is a Protocol / API for devices to connect to gaming servers to get information about them, developed by gamespy, ofcourse. Or at least I think so. Check your sources on that before telling anyone.) You know I’ve been programming Minecraft Wave for quite some time now, well, [...]

Minecraft Wave Announced

Yep – Projects pop up around me like flies. Damn, that wasn’t a good punchline. Anyway, I got 2 hours of sleep during these ~40 intensive hours, and now I’m preparing for a shower and a bed (hell yes! My mood is at top!)

Now I’m proud to announce yesterdays big question – Minecraft Wave! Together with The Blue Community, Sharkey, a few friends and especially notable MrDougan [2] [3] I’m going to lift this off. I’m too goddamn tired to explain everything, but answers and such should be on the official website. There are also logos there and such, if you want to use.

Now I gotta go pee too, so just finishing this off and you won’t see me until I wake up sometime next year. Nighty!

GLaDOS@Home API closed

Just wanted to tell you the GLaDOS@Home API have closed. It’s still caching information since a couple of minutes back, but that’s not a lot of information (Everything shut down when the clock hit zero)

In other news, Portal 2 was AWESOME. Me and my friend JMK (JoltMoppeKillen) have been lan’ning it the whole day. We completed the Co-op missions first, and then the Singleplayer campagin. It took about 11 hours (Minus 1-2 hours for eating and doing other stuff)

I’ve never ever ever played a better singleplayer game. Trust me. And it’s my top 2-player Cooperation game, too. Not my favorite multiplayer game tho, Quake Live & the Battlefield series still beats the multiplayer. But, that’s not what it’s about!  It’s a loveable game, and you should seriously play it.

Now I’m off to edit the videos we recorded. And play some chime. Have a good evening/night!

GLaDOS@Desktop Portal 2 Alarm Clock released!

Yep, I took the time to actually construct an alarm clock for Portal 2. Now, I’ve tested it, and it SEEMS to work so far, but I can’t promise anything (sorry, you probably know why! Sloppy late night programming often works but isn’t 100% comfortable at all times.)

Seriously I can see how my sentence structuring fails too now (and spelling), wow. I really need some sleep. Well, I did programm this software to actually wake me up when Portal 2 is released so, well, let’s try it out!

GLaDOS@Home API on Github

You can now find the GLaDOS@Home API on Github!

Now I’ll try to look after it, I’ll have to upload the updates manually to the server. But meh. Oh yeah, I also added JSON to the API, it can now be found on the API website. Plus I’ve updated the caching system, it now updates every 2-3 minutes, so it will be faster for you guys. Now I don’t have any bandwith limit on that website so use it as much as you’d like! I’ll complain (or the server will shut down, haha) when I’m getting too much load. So don’t worry! :D

If you need any direct help please check my twitter. I’ll respond there as often as possible.

GLaDOS@Home API!

I won’t lie to you. It’s my first try at an API, it might not work 100% – but hey it’s fun to make! I try to update it as often as possible, trying to include as much as possible. Right now it’s in an early stage, but I promise you’ll I’ll work deeper on it.
