zlib aquired. Future for ModBuilder 2.0 is SAAAAAAAFE! (yes there will be a modbuilder 2.0, I promise now. Aiming for this christmas.)
*EDIT*
No, it wasn’t the secret I talked about before. That’s even better.

Here we go. The transfer is accepted and now it won’t be long! This is seriously going to be awesooome. I can’t tell you any details until this is done however, and I’ve got it to work completely (heh) but all of you should prepare for something awesome!
I also looked back at the sites that distributed ModBuilder and the 1.2 version, damn I’m proud of myself… I didn’t know a lot back then but surely it was some amazing work for such a noob. It’s not perfect, far from it actually, but at least it’s something! Damn I’m proud. I so wish I to continue on it, however I have a slight problem with the zipping system..
if I could fix that then the rest would be a piece of cake.
Short blog update, I’m sorry, I’ll work harder on it. Luv from screeny!

Bought 2 new computers today, old stuff, but still! Right now I’m trying to get ‘em to work… cause they worked, at first… but the goddamn piece of shit crashed when i was in BIOS… I also have a small feeling that they are a bit overheated (57c idle, i mean come on!? That was in BIOS too… I don’t wanna see the temp with coretemp!) so I removed the CMOS battery and now waiting to put it in again… me want, me waaaant! Gonna use them for gaming servers and such. I don’t know what the other computer’s specs are at, but this one (currently without a CMOS battery) is a Pentium 4 3.4 GHz computer with RAID’ed 160gb harddrives. I haven’t had time to check the RAM yet (stupid bios), anyway I’m going to reformat them as I said and then use them as servers, hopefully.
*UPDATE*
The computer is now working, reformatting it right now!
if it does as I say, that is… but it seems like it
(currently crashed in the reformat window but anyway)

Just woke up. That’s about it. Then I ate. And now I’m sitting here again, for the people who are still alive.
No but seriously I hope there will be something done from me today. You’ll see. I sit at home with a fever ‘n shizzle so… yeah. It’s hard to overstate my satisfaction.
I’m not even angry. I just want to finish my software right now.
Even tho you broke my heart and killed me.

I’ve for a very long time told myself that “as soon as the BC2 server files are leaked, you are going to create a mod tool for it”. I’m still wondering “how” illegal it will be, the software itself won’t be illegal (since all it does is replacing modded files, you get the point) but all of the users will be stamped as “illegal”. I’m sad that it turned out this way, but if the only way to mod BC2 is to be fairly illegal… Well, then it’s the only way. I don’t want to encourage anyone to be illegal, at all, rather the other way around. I do however want to make a note to EA that “you bastards, you should’ve given us mod support!” yeha, I blame EA, not DICE. As far as I know DICE, they would include Mod Support for their games, even if not the best mod support or even decent mod support – it would be there. This way, EA is assuring no-one will stick to BC2 when they release a new game, sort of ‘moving over’ all the players to the new game by advertising, because of their disappointment of the last game (kind of, or people getting tired of it). Then you might say, why did they include an editor for Battlefield 2? Well, DICE wasn’t owned by EA back then. Nuff’ said. And they didn’t release an 2142 editor… you get the point. (Still same game engine, but whatever.)
If you want to make a long-lived game you either have to be first with the idea, or make the game damn well. In the definition of a damn good game is mod support. Even unlimited, if possible without getting hackers all over.
I live for modifications,
I live for playing around with variables,
and physics engines,
graphics,
effects,
and new ways to re-use a game engine,
pushing the limits of the game engine.
Things that the game creators cannot do by themselves because they are not allowed to, they can’t play with the limits. We can, and we want. We require mod support!
And trust me fellas, if I can create a custom mod tool for you guys, I will. It might take some time however…

First of all, excuse my grammatic errors that WILL occur in this update/whatever, and of course the misspellings. I can however blame on the fact that I took my medication this morning (makes my head all fuzzy for 3 days) and then you’re like “Is it really a good idea to blog then, or sit at the computer at all…?” Well, really… no. But I can’t really do any programming (I tried, I succeeded, thought it was boring and took a shower) and I can’t play cause a certain girlfriend of mine (Pixelwhore, MissAwesome, whatever you call her) has stolen my computer to play The Sims 3 >:( I should NEVER have installed that game on my computer… aaaah!
Please note, this update is REALLY LONG… press read more to read the rest!

Yeha, I bought myself a mac. Just wanted to tell you. I already have about 15-16 PC’s, but no mac. My dad had one in his work however, and I was really really impressed by it, but didn’t see the needs of it.
However, someone recently stole it… which means my dad no longer has a computer to be creative on and create music on, so, I bought this one for 370 Euros, which is a great price. It’s a PowerMac G5 if I’m not epicly mistaken, Intel 1,8 Ghz X2, 3 GB RAM, 80+200 GB hdd’s and such.
Me and my dad are however only gonna use it for creating music with, so it’s pretty much the only reason why we bought it… however, It’s awesome, and I love it already, even tho I have an shitty old 15″ screen connected to it.
Oh yeha btw, If everything goes well I’m going to be a Dj at a party tomorrow (thursday) which is going to be awesome. Wish me luck!
Yeha, two weeks ago something bad happened to my dad. oh no, he’s not dead, but he’s going to take some time to recover. Don’t worry tho, he’ll be just fine. I guess some of you know what happened.
That’s the main reason to why I have been away, but also I’ve had a lot of other problems, like one of my two aunt’s had a stroke… damn.
Anyway, programming is going well since I don’t have a lot of school. I’ve also been away at Liseberg (one of Sweden’s 2 largest amusement parks) for 2 days just running around riding roller coasters all day long, with only 1,5 hour sleep between. So, I’ve been really really tired,
As It’s getting better for me and I have a lot of new free time I hope to be able to shoof (what?) something up for you guys, that you might like. But, expect a lot of experimenting with the ACR/Screenycode! It will be my main priority atm since I’m very very interested in playing around with that kind of stuff.
Oh and yeha, even tho my blog is about programming, what is it, 3 days ago, I had 5 months with Tova, or as you might know her as, MissAwesome or Pixelwhore. (The 27th) yeha It’s not a lot, but it’s worth mentioning since she suddenly is very very much more popular then me xD haha, anyway. Hang tight out there, cause Screeny’s back in action. (Like I’ve said a thousand times before not releasing anything, but I hope I’ll do it this time… seriously.)
Oh and by the way, Now I’m too used to write on my N900… can’t write on a normal goddamn keyboard anymore, GAAH!
And, Pendulums new album Immersion rocks. Hard.

Don’t ask me how, but the last 3 days or so have been spent ONLY on programming something I’ve called ACR, Advanced Code Reader. What you see above is… pretty much the whole thing, just yet. It does some amazing parsing however, something I’ve been trying to do for over THREE years now. I really want to thank Pendulum for their latest album as it has been kindof manipulating my senses, without the Immersion album I would never have made trough this. I bought the Collectors Edition of the new Immersion album, and I totally won’t regret it! (Right now I’m destroying my old X-530 speakers with Pendulum ft. In Flames – Self vs Self, and my ears, but yah, we’ll all die sometime.)
Anyway, back to the subject… (more…)

Well, as you can see, while I’ve been busy, some random hacker-girl has been onto my website posting pictures of herself with cookies in front of her eyes… I wonder who it is, hmm…
Anyway, the recent days, weeks, and well yeha, the time, has been spent on doing homework and programming the Planning Computer. I’m still wondering if I’m going to release the planning computer to the public, but I can tell you it’s awesome. It’s even better then BattlefieldStyler. It also has touch-screen support (as I’m going to buy a touchscreen as fast as I get money and bought all the other stuff I’ve told myself to bought)
So, what’s a planning computer? Or, the planning computer, whatever. It’s simple a computer that shows a clock, when you don’t use it, but has a lot of different features, like wake-up clock that wakes you up every morning, playing your favorite music and a lot of other stuff. I’ve also been thinking of e-mails and a daily schedule, and other stuff like that. I’m still at the part where the wake-up clock works and I’m getting settings to work correctly together with the nice touch features and some performance thingies, since I’m testing it on an old celeron system it should work great on pretty much any computer.
Stay tuned, I’ll make sure to put up some nice pictures and stuff for you the upcoming week! Until then, check out the nice little Donate button I put on the sidebar on the website. It’s not to scare you or anything, really, it’s just there so people can donate to me if they appreciate my work and feel they have the money to donate a small amount to keep me motivated to do more programming.
Now I’m going to return to my homework…
