For all of you that scratches your heads about the location of the Battlefield 3 Configuration File, it’s located under C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Battlefield 3\settings and the file PROF_SAVE_profile – yes, it is correct. The BF3 CFG file does not have a line ending (.cfg, .ini, .con or whatever) – so don’t be fooled by it. There’s also a PROF_SAVE_body file – where your whole soldier profile is located, such as accessories to weapons, skins and other customizations are keeped. However, that’s a binary file – so don’t expect to have much fun with it, sadly.
